Flying Primrose

When most of us last saw the super 1936 20/25 at this year's National Rally little did we know that it was soon to change ownership and proceed by an unusual route to its new home in Luxembourg. The car, which was owned by a gentleman from Welshpool in Wales, was purchased by Tom Klein from Luxembourg. Tom, who was very impressed with the car and the conditions under which it had been kept, completed the purchase and decided on a most unusual route to its new home.

It commenced under its own power across Wales to Birkenhead then by sea to Northern Ireland and sea again to Scotland. After a few days sightseeing Tom drove the car to Prestwick airport for the final leg of the journey by Boeing 747 freighter to its new home in Luxembourg. What a journey!
